Jimmy was a homeless stray found hanging out near Turner Street in Penticton. He was rescued and brought to the BC SPCA South Okanagan/Similkameen Branch on June 4, 2010.
Full of "cat-titude" and sporting a large squishy belly, this spunky charcoal & black tabby was a fast favourite with staff & volunteers. He was also a permanent feature on the cat patio.
It was a happy day when Jimmy’s new family walked through the door to adopt him on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2011. It truly was love at first sight. Jimmy's new family wrote to update us on his progress.
Hey all!
I just want to let you know that Jimmy is spoiled rotten!
Our Valentines Day addition sits on the counter next to me, talking away while I work and he follows me everywhere! When I take a shower he waits out side the door for me! I have a new shadow :)
Whenever I open the fridge he comes running to the door because he knows were the treats are hidden hahahah its very funny! As for his weight, well he is on a diet and hasn’t been too grumpy about it!
He's very social and is settling in wonderfully with his new family, he is loved loved loved!
I just want you all to know you definitely won’t be seeing him back at your door. He’s a very happy camper and so am I
Thank you for my little old man!
Congratulations to Jimmy My Pal and his loving new family.
