The BC SPCA South Okanagan/Similkameen Branch is hosting a Volunteer Appreciation Brunch on Sunday April 29, 2012 at the branch at 2200 Dartmouth Drive, Penticton.

In celebration of Volunteer Appreciation week and to thank our volunteers for the amazing work they do each day to support homeless, abandoned and abused animals in our community we will be whipping up waffles and goodies from 10am until 12 noon.

This is a great time to network with other volunteers and share stories with like minded members of the community.

Although drop-ins are welcome, RSVP’s are appreciated to ensure we have enough yummies for everyone. Please contact branch staff at 250-493-0136.

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization funded primarily by public donations. Our mission is to prevent cruelty and to promote the welfare of animals through a wide range of services, including cruelty investigations, emergency rescue and treatment, sheltering and adoption of homeless and abused animals, humane education, advocacy, farm animal welfare, spay/neuter programs, and wildlife rescue and rehabilitation.
