After 15 long months of waiting, he has found the love of a new family fom Lund, B.C. Congratulations to Ace!

Along with other ailments, an untreated skin condition left him highly odorous and most of his fur was either missing or extremely thinned out.

Despite all of this, Ace still had a wag in his tail and a hopeful look that someone would give him a cuddle. Due to his conditions, affection was a bit of a challenge, but cuddles he received.

Now that he has received medical treatment and is fed hypo-allergenic food, Ace looks like a different dog. With a new found spring in his step, Ace is looking and feeling 100 per cent better than when he first arrived. And, he is now ready to find himself a new home.

Ace is an easy-going, good-natured, and lovable dog. He loves his food and has been known to bark at the fridge hoping the door will magically open and something yummy will pop out. Ace walks well on leash, is affectionate and enjoys being with his people.

He can sometimes be vocal in the kennels but his volunteer foster home notes that he has been quieter in their care. So, a home where someone is around most of the time would suit Ace just fine. Another friendly canine pal for company would also be welcome. An alert, lively and happy dog, Ace is more than ready to start a new chapter of his life
