THE BRITISH COLUMBIA SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS
Our mission: To protect and enhance the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in B.C.
Gunther arrived at the BC SPCA Sunshine Coast Branch as a scared, apprehensive and tired young cat after living on his own for a while, possibly abandoned by his owners. Still bearing the scars of life on the streets - and with half a tail that is twisted and broken - Gunther at first watched the goings on of the Admittance Room from the back of his cage . . . laying flattened on his blanket. But it didn't take long for Gunther to come around and show everyone what a sweet boy he is, craving a kind hand and a chin scritch but at the same time not constantly demanding your attention.
A wayward pet, with no one looking for him, Gunther is now looking for a home that will miss him if he goes missing - easy going with other cats, he would be fine with another gentle and good-natured feline friend in his new home, and possibly a cat friendly dog.
