On November 18, 2011, Handsome Robbie, a brown brindle mixed breed dog, was found chained to the gate of the BC SPCA Sunshine Coast Branch.
Handsome Robbie, is more than just good looks, he is clever enough to know commands such as to shake a paw, sit, down, speak, down, play dead, roll and even drop it!
Robbie also has great recall, likes to drink from a water hose and absolutely loves playing soccer - which he is excellent at. Beckham may just need to keep an eye out for our boy :- )

Good with people and dogs – though he would benefit from some further socialization with other dogs - Handsome Rob enjoys a good play session in the play yards with his canine pals. If no one is around to play with, no problem, Robbie easily amuses himself with toys, especially if it’s a squeaky toy!
After being attacked by a cat at some point in his life, Handsome Robbie is literally scared of cats, but the same can't be said for chickens so he is looking for poultry free home and neighborhood please.

Since arriving at the shelter, Handsome Rob has become quite needy in wanting to be with people; so a home where someone is around most of the time would be most suitable, or a home where he could be taken to work with his caregiver would be great.
Looking for a firm but kind leader, an active lifestyle and someone to spend his days and evenings with, Handsome Robbie is extremely loyal, loves to please, bonds fairly quickly and is waiting for a second chance at life. If you'd like to meet this silly boy (just check out his video) please stop by during business hours for a meet and greet.
