Thak you to the Royal Bank!

 December 22, 2009 

Pictured are (left) Jennifer Lyon, Senior Account Manager of the RBC Royal Bank (Sechelt) presenting Sunshine Coast SPCA Branch Manager, Shannon Broderick with a $500 cheque.  Jennifer volunteers with the local SPCA branch and applied for the $500 through the RBC Employee Volunteer Grants Program which supports community involvement, employees who volunteer a minimum of 40 hours a year to a registered charity are eligible for a $500 grant to the organization in their honour.

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization funded primarily by public donations. Our mission is to prevent cruelty and to promote the welfare of animals through a wide range of services, including cruelty investigations, emergency rescue and treatment, sheltering and adoption of homeless and abused animals, humane education, advocacy, farm animal welfare, spay/neuter programs, and wildlife rescue and rehabilitation.
