THE BRITISH COLUMBIA SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS
Our mission: To protect and enhance the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in B.C.
I am VERY happy to report that Timber (aka Simba) is fully recovered and mending himself happily by rapidly gaining weight particularly in his little pot belly...we lovingly refer to him as our "overweight red-headed step child".
As you can see from the photos enclosed he has a rough life *joke* spending his days chasing our toddler and his evenings lounging in front of the wood stove.
Of course he sets aside enough time between eating, & playing to take in a nap with one of his people or helping "dad" make the fire. His favorite games consist of "stalk the 3 year old", fetch (yes he actually wakes me up by climbing into bed with his stuffed mouse for a few rounds of fetch) and "get the bug" (we seem to have a strange infestation of lady bugs which have become favorite "prey) and of course "chase the clothes" tumbling in our front loading washing machine.
Timber likes to give kisses and wedge himself into any hiding place including open Tupperware cupboards, shoe boxes, and any given shelf or vacant box.
From our family to yours, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the fine work you do and the lives you improve, both animal and human, by caring and pairing with love!
Enjoy the photos, as you will see Timber has found his niche in his forever home & we are so happy to have him!
