Sasha originally came to the BC SPCA Surrey Branch with her seven other siblings. The young family was surrendered at a very young age because their previous owner was leaving the country with the puppies' mother.
Immediately after arriving, the seven adorable youngsters were placed into a foster home until they were 8 weeks old and available for adoption. A sweet girl, it wasn't long before Sasha found herself a loving, new fur-ever home. Her mom wrote us this update:
Poppy (aka Sasha) is a sweet and friendly dog with instinctive guarding skill. Her dog friends include shih-tzus, rottweilers and german shepherds.
Here she is at my dads care home. Everyone there loves our visits. My dad has advanced dementia, but he always seems to recognize her! Sometimes, he holds tight to her leash and she pulls him around the room and everyone laughs!
It warms our hearts to see Sasha appreciated by all around her. She is a great dog with lots to give. Thanks to her mom for sharing this update.
