Gracie was surrendered into the care of a BC SPCA humane officer when her living conditions were below basic standards of care. She was brought to the BC SPCA Surrey Branch to help her find a home where she would be loved and looked after properly.
It wasn’t long before someone spotted her lovely disposition and sunny outlook. Gracie was adopted into her new home and her doting new mum has let us know just what they have been up to.
Hi! Yesterday was a special day! One year ago yesterday, I adopted "Gracie" from the Surrey SPCA. Her name is now Sydney, she has been my trusty sidekick ever since.
I work from home and she is the best office mate a person could ask for. She is a happy, mellow pittie whose favourite thing is to snuggle in close for tummy rubs. I'm grateful every single day to have had the chance to become her guardian and for the all the work the SPCA does to protect animals just like her.
Thanks for looking after my best friend until she could find her forever home with me!
All the best, AnnMarie
We’re so happy not only to have had a part in changing Gracie’s life for the better, but also AnnMarie’s too. They sound like two peas in a pod and we’re so happy Ann Marie chose adoption as her first option.
