Gryllen, Gorgeous, Goose
Adopted: August 3, 2011
|
Gorgeous, Gryllen, and Goose were all surrendered to the BC SPCA Trail Branch in June 2011 when their caregiver no longer had the time to keep up with them. Ferrets are a special type of animal; they require special care to help keep them healthy, happy, and loved.
Thankfully all three of these wonderful guys were very well-bonded and enjoyed spending their time together. They seemed to be well taken care of too as their coats were shiny and clean. Gorgeous, Gryllen, and Goose were all very curious boys who had fun exploring outside their cage by going around the shelter on a leash.
This trio were lucky enough to win the heart of a Ferret lover who already had one herself and was looking to expand. Now they get to romp around a house and steal shoes to their heart’s desire. Tara wrote to share an update and some photos:
Dear Lindsay and staff at Trail SPCA, It was great meeting you all. I love my new family of ferrets. They are so docile, sweet, and placid. I cannot get over how loving and gentle they are. Goose and Gryllen get on really well with everyone. The problem two are Joaquin and Gorgeous. Joaquin is good with me, wild and crazy, chews my plugs, phones and everything. I had to reshuffle all appliances. He will not accept any other ferrets and is very vicious and aggressive with other ferrets. Everyone else gets along well. They settled in quickly, seem very happy, and enjoy running around. They have taken a shine to me - like Lindsay said, they love their treats.
Goose loves shoes. I still forget to remove my flip flops off the floor and the next thing I see are my shoe going for a walk. I had to move all my shoes to the top shelve as every single shoe goes for a walk and has, designer wear, teeth marks in them. I have to be very very careful too in case he swallows the plastic.
Goose evens tries taking my flip flops off my feet - lol. So my all shoes are hidden well and out of range. Yes, Lindsay, you were right Gryllen sure does the famous ferret war dance. He plays for hours by himself jumping, playing, and ferret chatting, well you know.
Again, thanking you all. They are really lovely, good natured and beautiful ferrets. I thoroughly enjoy them especially watching them play. Wishing you all the best for now. Take care of yourselves. Tara
Ferrets are such special animals we were so happy to have found a home with the experience and love for them that they deserve. Thank you to Tara for making these Ferrets your first, second, and third choice for adoption!
