Ming was a gorgeous young Siamese cross who was wandering Highway 3B in Fruitvale with another kitty friend before being picked up by an animal control officer. They were brought to the BC SPCA Trail Regional Branch with hopes of reuniting them with their family, but with no identification that would prove to be very difficult.
It was quite cold out and Ming was lucky to be picked up quite quickly. She waited for days on end, but no one came looking for her or her kitty counterpart, thus they were both made available for adoption.
Ming’s beautiful features won many people over, but her shyness tended to be a hard sell. Ming loved to play with her toys and would come out of her shell once she got to know you and saw how others would react around her.
It was less than a month before the perfect home was found for Ming when a lovely woman came by interested in her. Here is an update:
Hi my name is Lori and I live in Castlegar, BC and on Friday January 06 2012 I went and adopted my first pet from The Trail Regional Branch of the BCSPCA. MING is a young SealPoint Siamese X Manx Cat.
I was So Thrilled on giving Ming, a Warm and Loving forever Home! Ming will be getting Spayed next Wednesday at The Arrow Lakes Veterinary Hospital. An Adopted Animal, Is a Happy Animal.
It’s wonderful that Ming has found the person she was meant to spend her life with. Thank you to Lori for making adoption your first option and for opening your heart and home to Ming.
