Tia

ID: 192671

Adopted!

Share:

Tia is a sweet, black border collie/lab cross who is just near her fourth birthday. She originally came to the BC SPCA Trail Regional Branch in 2010 and quickly found her home. Unfortunately Tia’s owners had to move recently and could not take her with them, so she is back in the shelter, awaiting her second and final home.

Tia is currently having some weight issues, so she would benefit from a home where she can have daily walks and controlled feeding to help her lose some of the extra weight.

A great medium sized girl, Tia knows most of her basic commands and she does well on the leash. She has been introduced to other dogs and cats and has gotten along well with both. However, if you have a dog at your home already, we recommend that you introduce your dog to Tia, prior to bringing her home to ensure that the dogs will not mind living together.

Tia also really enjoys the company of children, so a home with or without kids would suit her just fine. Not only will Tia get more physical activity from your children, but she will offer the same to them.

If you would can open your heart and home to Tia, please visit the BC SPCA Trail Regional Branch, email us or call (250) 368-5910.
