Dax was found as a stray in Prince George, and was transfered tothe BC SPCA Maple Ridge Branch via our Drive for Lives program. Dax was then transfered to the BC SPCA Vancouver Branch, where he found his forever home not too long after his arrival.
His new family sent us this wonderful update:
I'm sure you can tell by the photo I've attached, that we've established a loving bond with this sweet, beautiful dog.
We've established a nice routine with Dante. He is sleeping, eating and playing like he's feeling ease and safety here with us. He makes great eye contact with us and listens well. I think he's the most polite dog I've ever known.
 He has a big, comfy dog beds that he enjoys immensely. He is quiet and content when we're working at our desks. He loves long walks in the green space we are so privileged to enjoy out here in Surrey. We have some training to do with him around socializing with other dogs. I have caught him and my son snuggling on my sons bed a couple of times.
It all sums up to this: We are gloriously happy with the progress we've made as a family. It feels like Dante is an old, long-lost friend come back to us.
Our deepest gratitude for entrusting this lovely dog to us. He is a gift.
