Elsa, a gorgeous, four-year-old female cat, was originally abandoned in Sechelt in December 2011. She was found locked inside an empty apartment with no food or water when her owner moved out. Literally skin and bones when she arrived, Elsa was still loving and affectionate towards her rescuers.
Elsa was adopted in March 2012, however it did not work out with her and the resident dog and so Elsa was brought back to the BC SPCA Vancouver Branch where she is waiting to find her forever home.
A young cat, Elsa is very playful and loves grabbing her toys and tossing them in the air, twirling and leaping in the air like a tiny ballerina.
With a ready and steady purr, Elsa enjoys the company of people and being petted - soaking up the attention - but at the same time, not demanding it.
Watch her videos below (from when she was first admitted in December 2011) and fall in love with this charming girl. If you would like to open your heart and home to Elsa, please visit the BC SPCA Vancouver Branch, email us or call (604) 879-7291. Additonal information: adoption fees, location and hours of operation.
