Shelter animal foster care program
Currently we are in need of foster homes for both cats & dogs. All interested applicants will be required to attend an orientation, interview, complete a criminal record check and have a home check done by a BC SPCA representative. Please see the above workshop dates and volunteer process for becoming a foster home for the Vancouver BC SPCA.
To volunteer with the animals you must be able to volunteer a minimum two hour shift per week for at least six months. If you are unable to meet that time commitment please consider volunteering in another capacity other than with the animals, for example events or administration.
You must be at least 19 years of age to volunteer with the animals.
