Skipper, a black and white adult short hair cat, ended up in the care of the BC SPCA Victoria Branch on April 28, 2011 after being picked up as a stray.

This kitty is a super confident and outgoing boy. Skipper is certainly the captain of his life and likes things his way and will let you know when he wants to have some affection and when he wants to be on his own. He will come to you on his own terms and his own way when he wants a bit of affection. This is a boy who likes to be quiet and you will typically find him off and away from the other kitties.

He isn't much for change, and likes to sit on "his" chair and in "his" spot outside.  He is, however, very quick to come to you when he hears the treat bag!  He does enjoy playing - though he doesn’t play hard,  he likes to play with a ball or kitty toy and really likes to play with string or a laser light.

He does best playing one-on-one off in a quiet area with you. Once in his own forever home, and away from the stress of sharing his living space with other cats and wandering humans, he’ll likely have more spirit for compromise and affection.

Since Skipper needs to be the king of the castle, he would do best in a home without other kitties. It is also suggested he be in an adult-only environment.
