Spirit is a Labrador Retriever and German Shepherd cross.

She arrived at the Victoria Branch of the BC SPCA on July 13, 2010 when her former owners were moving to a new home without pets.

Don't be deceived by Spirit's greying muzzle. She may be eight years old but still has energy to spare!

She loves going for walks and behaves very well on leash. In fact, she's happiest when around her people.

Spirit is an independant gal that will enjoy a walk with other dogs, but that's the extent of her interest in socializing. She enjoys her personal space and will be content to live out her golden years in a calm and quiet home.

To learn more about Spirit or to meet her in person, visit the Victoria Branch today.
