After being abandonded by her former owner in August 2011, Candy found herself in the care of the BC SPCA West Vancouver Branch where she was adopted on October 16, 2011, by a loving new family. They wrote to us recently to give us an update on her transition into her new forever home.
Candy (now named "Porsche") has settled into our family very well, and we are enjoying having her as a new family member! She's already been to the vet for her check-up, has been chipped and got her rabies shot. Porsche is getting to know our neighbourhood – Corey (our son) takes her for walks before and after school, my husband takes her for numerous outings through-out the day, and I also get to take her on her evening walk.
We're glad to have the opportunity to give her a forever home. She is a great little dog. Maya, Rob and Corey

Thank you, Maya, Rob & Corey, for sharing your Happy Ending story. We are happy to know that Candy/Porsche will live happily ever after.
