Ferguson was only a few months old when he was picked up as a stray and brought to the BC SPCA West Vancouver Branch. He had no identification and his owners never came to claim him, very sad considering how young and friendly he was.
Ferguson was taken to a local veterinarian to be neutered and tattooed, this way should he ever escape again he could be reunited with his family. Being such a young puppy still Ferguson has seemingly limitless amounts of energy and he was always happy to have you sit and play with him.
It didn’t take long for someone to see what a wonderful puppy Ferguson was and he was soon adopted into his new forever home. His new owner has taken the time to let us know how life has been since Ferguson became a part of her world.
My new animal friend has changed my life tremendously. We take several walks a day with one another, play times, cuddle sessions and have enrolled into puppy class for some extra pointers.
We bonded from the first day we met and can always depend on one another for a fun afternoon of playing or a quiet evening of lazing around the house. The challenges we have faced include housetraining, getting into the routine and figuring out the house rules (including what to chew and what not to chew).
Ferguson has a daily exercise routine of running around the house in circles, alternating which toy he carries with him for each lap. It is very amusing to watch!
Thanks! Heather
We’re happy to hear that Ferguson has not only kept his adorable name, but his bouncy personality too. Thank you to Heather for making adoption your first option and spending the time to help this young pup become a wonderful adult in the future.
