Victor was a very handsome stray kitten that was found in 2011. He had been left abandoned with his siblings at a garbage dump in Williams Lake where a Good Samaritan came upon them. This animal lover not only brought them home to look after them, but nursed them back to health and had them all neutered before bringing them to the BC SPCA Williams Lake & District Branch to be put up for adoption.
Victor had a wonderful personality and got along famously with other cats and even well behaved dogs too. He stayed at the Williams Lake branch for a period of time looking for his forever home, but eventually he was moved to the BC SPCA West Vancouver Branch through the Drive for Lives program.
Soon after, Victor was adopted into a loving home where he now has lots of people to keep him company and a new kitty friend to play with too.
Hello SPCA!
Thanks to your fabulous association I was blessed with picking up an adorable 5 month old cat named Victor (who is now being called Leon) and has been such a blessing in my life.
He was adopted at the West Vancouver SPCA branch on December 9, 2011 and was a Christmas gift to myself. Leon lives with myself, my two roommates and their 3 month old kitten. Luckily the two cats have become the best of friends and play together until they pass out.
He was brought into the household with an already very timid nature typical of a stereotypical stray cat (he was found at Williams Lake) but has blossomed and is comfortable around everyone within the house. Some work still needs to be done when it comes to his interaction with strangers but we will get there.
He is a snuggle bug, loves to play with small toys, and is a sucker for kitty treats. One of his favourite things to do is to drink out of the toilet or pose like Greta Garbo on my bed. Thank you very much, SPCA, for such a terrific addition to my life. :)
Elizabeth
It looks like Leon may have learned a trick or two from his previous doggy companion! Thank you Elizabeth for taking care of Leon and making his life everything he must have always hoped it would be.
