Mona was originally found as a stray in Prince Rupert in September 2011. She was taken to the local BC SPCA branch where she waited for her owner to come and claim her. When nobody did, Mona stayed on for many months hoping someone would want to adopt her.

After months of no interest, staff decided to give this sweet girl a ride via the Drive for Lives program down to the BC SPCA West Vancouver Branch, to enhance her chances of finding her forever home.
Mona, is approximately two-years-old and is your typical tortoiseshell, with a heart just as big as her. Although Mona tolerates the other cats in the shelter, she would be happiest as the queen of the house. She is very attentive and would follow you around the house chit chatting away about her day.
While good natured and loving, Mona has been homeless for far too long. If you can open your heart and home to this lovely girl, please come and visit her at the BC SPCA West Vancouver Branch. For more information, please email wvan@spca.bc.ca or call (604) 922-4622.
