Salud! Toast to the Animals is the only event of its kind on the North Shore. It is an elegant celebration of delicious wines and cheeses and live entertainment. It features an amazing selection of silent auction items, including a weekend away at Sun Peaks, a signed Canuck jersey, and several jewelry and art pieces. The event is expected to attract 100 guests from our community.

The popular West Vancouver BC SPCA dog wash fundraisers are back for another year starting Sunday, May 27th and will continue throughout the summer on July 29, August 26 and September 30 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The BC SPCA West Vancouver Branch is seeking people to sit on a community council to help achieve the society’s mission of protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in the region. Last year the BC SPCA cared for more than 32,000 injured, abused and neglected animals, including 782 animals at the West Vancouver Shelter.

West Vancouver Whole Foods has been a staunch supporter of the BC SPCA for several years. This year was no exception: they raised over $4,000 this year through a dog wash and bag donations.
