Raptor Flight Cage
This 30' x 70' exercise pen was built between October 2005 and March 2006, and enables Wild ARC to care for injured and orphaned birds of prey and other large bird species up until the point of release.
Eagles, osprey, owls, hawks, herons, turkey vultures and even ravens and gulls have been flight tested and exercised in this enclosure before release. In the past, these birds would be transferred to other facilities over three hours away for such care and rarely returned for local release.
