Wild ARC Education, Outreach & Fundraising Teams
Wild ARC community teams help to plan fundraising and outreach events that directly benefit the wild animal patients at Wild ARC. From fundraising raffles and community booths to our annual Fall for Wildlife dinner auction, Wild ARC has a full calendar of fundraising and outreach events throughout the year. We are always looking for new ideas, and for volunteers to lend a hand.
The Wild ARC Humane Education Team also plays an important role in public outreach, educating the public about wild animals and urban wildlife issues. With expanding development and increasing human-wildlife interaction, many wild animals are injured, orphaned, or displaced. The Humane Education Team works with schools and clubs to bring these important lessons to children, their parents, and members of the local community.
Interested in learning how to get involved in these teams? Please register online to attend an upcoming Volunteer Orientation session, where you can find out all the details for these community volunteer roles. Many thanks to these dedicated volunteers, whose work for the animals is equally important as volunteering with the wild patients in our facility!
