When this puppy came into the Branch as a stray he looked like he had been thru hell and back! During the previous week, a forest fire had passed thru the 70 Mile House area and we believe he had somehow been left behind when the evacuation took place. We named him Bones as he was very thin and had patches of burnt hair on his body. As Bones quickly gained weight we changed this name to Miles as it seemed more appropriate.
Miles was adopted by a young couple on June 17, 2010. He quickly became part of the family. Now almost 1 year later Chase, his new name, goes everywhere with Valerie and Chris. Chase regularly shows off his skills of sit, down, roll-over, play dead, and many many others. "Chase is the best dog ever", were the first words spoken when asked how things were going with him! Thanks Valerie and Chris for visiting the Branch and sharing the obvious joy Chase has given your family!
