THE BRITISH COLUMBIA SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS
Our mission: To protect and enhance the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in B.C.

The BC SPCA provides care and protection to 26,000 animals each year. Any help that you can give us in publishing the following public service announcements would be deeply appreciated. We seek to provide the best welfare for each animal in our care. The public can help by adopting animals rather than purchasing them from pet stores, spaying and neutering their dogs, cats, and rabbits, and volunteering with us.  We need the help of the media in every community to ensure that homeless animals in BC find a perfect match for a forever home.

Dogs in Pick-up Trucks

Tragically, every year in BC countless dogs suffer and die after being thrown from the back of pickup trucks. Consequently, your pet should never ride unrestrained in the back or body of any vehicle.
