2010 Wildlife-In-Focus Wildlife Photography Contest begins today!

 June 1, 2010

This annual fundraiser for the BC SPCA Wild Animal Rehabilitation Centre is a fun way to capture a special moment with a wild animal and share it with other nature-lovers!

Last year's first successful photo fundraiser hosted by the BC SPCA Wild ARC, has now gone provincial and is open to all adult backyard and amateur photographers (16 years+) in B.C. There are great prizes to be won and photos can be submitted all summer between June 1 and August 31.

Photos taken from that camping trip last summer or even birds on your backyard feeder - if it is a good picture, we want to see and share it! Submit as many photos as you like as every entry makes a difference for injured and orphaned wildlife.

Enter this year's contest and see winners from 2009 like the featured 1st place photograph in the "Wild Settings" category, shown below.

The BC SPCA's Wild Animal Rehabilitation Centre is the only wildlife rehabilitation centre on southern Vancouver Island, Wild ARC treats over 2,000 wild animals annually from throughout the region. Your gift could save a life. Please donate today.
