Thank you for sharing 588,759 days of pet love with us

To celebrate the joy of pet guardianship and adoption, we asked our fans to share their “I’ve Been Loved” photos depicting how may days that their pets have been loved. From May 1-15, we received more than 200 photos from our fans via Facebook and Twitter. We then tallied up the total number of days that our fan’s pets have been loved: an amazing, inspiring 588,759 days. That’s a lot of love!

To further share the joy that our pets bring to our lives, we’ve compiled some of our favourite photos into the following video to promote pet adoption. Did your pet’s photo make the final cut?

Watch our End the Wait video:

You too can get-in on all this love. End the Wait for a pet today by visiting your local branch or viewing adoptable animals online.

We sincerely thank each of our wonderful supporters who submitted their pet’s photos and we wish we could include them all, but that would make for a very long video.

Didn’t see your pet’s photo? You can still find it on our #IveBeenLoved Pinterest board.

The British Columbia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a not-for-profit organization reliant on public donations. Our mission is to protect and enhance the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in B.C.
