Petsecure Pet Health Insurance is helping animals adopted from the BC SPCA and their new guardians get off to a great start. Through a new partnership agreement announced today between Petsecure and the BC SPCA, Petsecure will offer six weeks of complimentary pet insurance for any animal adopted from one of the BC SPCA’s 37 branches across the province. The insurance has a value of up to $500 per animal.
“We are delighted to be partnering with Petsecure and to be able to offer new adopters and their animals this added benefit,” says Craig Daniell, chief executive officer for the BC SPCA.
“Not only does the program promote the health and well-being of the animals leaving our branches, but it also highlights the responsibility of pet guardians to plan for the lifelong care of their animals.”
In addition to offering six weeks of complimentary pet health insurance for new SPCA adopters, Petsecure is also providing more than $140,000 of additional sponsorship support over the next two years to support the BC SPCA’s work with homeless, abused, injured and neglected animals.
The BC SPCA is a not-for-profit which helps more than 37,000 animals in need throughout the province each year and offers a wide range of education and advocacy programs to prevent animal cruelty and abuse. Your gift can help give an animal a second chance. Please donate today.
