BC SPCA investigates cruelty report at a Fort Langley zoo

 December 14, 2009

The BC SPCA has received a complaint that was forwarded to us from Zoocheck regarding the Mountain View Conservation and Breeding Centre.

We are currently conducting an investigation into the allegations and that this investigation is ongoing. The owner is currently cooperating with the investigation.

We do not have any updates at this moment, nor can we anticipate what may happen in the future. Our primary concern is to ensure that animals currently in their custody are receiving adequate care.

Thank you.

Our mission is to prevent cruelty and to promote the welfare of animals through a wide range of services, including cruelty investigations, emergency rescue and treatment, sheltering and adoption of homeless and abused animals, humane education, advocacy, farm animal welfare, spay/neuter programs, and wildlife rescue and rehabilitation.
