Bosley’s supports homeless animals through national pet adoption event

 October 11, 2012

Bosley’s Pet Food Plus is helping homeless cats find new loving families during a special national pet adoption event, Oct. 12 to 14.

In B.C., Bosley’s hosts BC SPCA satellite adoption centres in 17 of its locations and has helped to  adopt out more than 2,100 SPCA cats since the satellite adoption program launched in 2009.

“We are extremely grateful to Bosley’s for their ongoing support for the animals, through the adoption centres and through their sponsorship of signature fundraising events such as the Scotiabank and BC SPCA Paws for a Cause,” says Rosemary Conder, chief development officer for the BC SPCA. “They have been supporters of the BC SPCA for more than 23 years and their support has made a life-saving difference for the animals in our care.”

She notes that Bosley’s has contributed nearly $200,000 to help SPCA animals, including $9,600 raised this year through the sale of paw prints in support of SPCA services and programs.
