Make your pet a star!

 April 16, 2010

The BC SPCA announces the 2011 Animal Lovers' Calendar contest, a chance for your furry friend to win one of 12 coveted spots in the non-profit society's popular annual calendar.

It's a chance to make your pet a star and help animals who are less fortunate at the same time.  Just submit your pet's photo and story for a $10 registration fee and visitors to the BC SPCA will cast votes for their top 12 favourites (each vote is $1, with all proceeds going to help animals in need).

The 12 animals with the most votes at noon on May 17 will win a spot in the calendar. An additional 10 animals judged to have the most compelling stories and photos will each win a special BC SPCA goody bag with items from the Shop BC SPCA online store.

Post your pet's photo today and let your friends and family know your furry or feathered friend needs their vote!

For more information, read our full press release or visit spca.bc.ca/calendarcontest.
