Our mission: To protect and enhance the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in B.C.

 May 4, 2015

There’s still time to help B.C’s most vulnerable animals and potentially, win some great cash prizes in the BC SPCA Lottery for animals in need. With only two weeks left, the May 17 deadline is approaching fast.

“What have you got to lose?” asks Krista Constantineau, manager of fundraising events, BC SPCA. “You not only help save the lives of animals, you get the chance to win one of 31 cash prizes. It’s a win-win for animal lovers!”

Funds raised through the lottery go toward urgently needed medical care, sheltering, spay and neuter services, advocacy, adoption, foster care programs and other services provided for homeless and abused animals in BC SPCA shelters across the province. The BC SPCA is focusing on the province’s overwhelming cat overpopulation crisis with education and prevention strategies intended to help end the suffering of thousands of homeless and abandoned cats, as outlined in its five-year Strategic Plan.

Tickets are $25 each, three for $60 and five for $90. There are daily cash prizes throughout June – $2,500 each day and $5,000 on Fridays – with a special prize of $10,000 awarded on Father’s Day.

“Don’t miss your chance! Tickets are going fast,” Constantineau says.

Sponsored by CTV and TV Week, the lottery features another bonus: each winning ticket is re-entered for the daily prizes. To order tickets, call 604-205-5998 (toll-free 1-855-205-5998) or request your tickets online at Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older and tickets can only be sold in B.C. Know your limit, play within it.
