The early bird gets the worm… and the cash! Time hasn’t run out – there’s still a chance to help B.C.’s most vulnerable animals and potentially, win amazing cash prizes, including the early bird prize of $8,000. Buy your BC SPCA Lottery for animals in need tickets before midnight on May 2 for the chance to win – and even if you win, you will be re-entered into the prize draw every day in June. Tickets are only $25 each, three for $60 and five for $90.
“The 50/50 tickets sold out in just 12 days and we are expecting the lottery to sell out too,” says Carina Stirling, BC SPCA officer of fundraising events. “The final ticket sales deadline is May 19, which is approaching fast. You really don’t want to miss out! The prizes are huge and there are 31 chances to win.”
Money raised through the lottery goes toward urgently needed medical care, sheltering, spay and neuter surgeries, advocacy, adoption, foster care programs and the many other services the BC SPCA provides for homeless, abused and neglected animals across the province. There are daily cash prizes throughout June totaling $100,000, including $5,000 ‘Lucky Mutt Monday’ prizes and $5,000 prizes on ‘Fat Cat Fridays’, as well as a Father’s Day jackpot of $10,000, Stirling notes.
“Buy your tickets today before it’s too late! You’ll be helping animals too – it’s a win-win for animal lovers,” Stirling says.
Sponsored by CTV and TV Week, the lottery features another bonus – every winning ticket is re-entered for the daily prizes. To order tickets, call 1-855-205-5998 or request your tickets online at spca.bc.ca/lottery.
Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older and tickets can only be sold in B.C. Know your limit, play within it.
