Reward increased in hunt for swan killers

 January 13, 2010

If you or anyone you know has information that may lead to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the shooting deaths of three trumpeter swans near Kamloops last November, please contact the B.C. Conservation Service at 1-877-952-7277 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

The Kamloops and District Fish and Game Association is offering a $1,000 reward in addition to what is being offered by the BC SPCA.

To help in our life-saving cruelty investigations work, please support the BC SPCA Heroes Fund for Animal Protection.

For more information, read the BC Local News article.

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization funded primarily by public donations. Our mission is to prevent cruelty and to promote the welfare of animals through a wide range of services, including cruelty investigations, emergency rescue and treatment, sheltering and adoption of homeless and abused animals, humane education, advocacy, farm animal welfare, spay/neuter programs, and wildlife rescue and rehabilitation.
