The BC SPCA’s Surrey Branch invites you to an evening of dining, dancing and entertainment at the acclaimed Northview Golf & Country Club on Saturday, March 3. The evening, which includes dinner, live entertainment, dancing, silent and live auctions, prizes and more, benefits the 3,700 abused, neglected, homeless and injured animals cared for by the Surrey SPCA branch each year. Host and emcee for the gala will be Global TV’s Mark Madryga.

“This is our eighth annual Animal Lovers gala and each year it gets better and better,” says BC SPCA volunteer and event organizer, Michelle Grant. In addition to the live and silent auctions, this year’s gala will feature a musical tribute to Michael Buble by SWAY and a gourmet buffet.

Tickets for the event, which takes place from 6 p.m. to midnight, are $125 or $1,000 for a table of 10. An official tax receipt in the amount of $50 will be issued for each ticket purchased. Tickets can be purchased online until 10:00pm Thursday March 1, or by email at surreyevents@spca.bc.ca. The Northview Golf & Country Club is located at 6857 168th Street in Surrey.

The 8th Annual Animal Lovers Gala Dinner & Auction is sponsored by EASI (Entrance Automation Systems Inc.), the King of Floors and the Now newspaper.

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization funded primarily by public donations. Our mission is to prevent cruelty and to promote the welfare of animals through a wide range of services, including cruelty investigations, emergency rescue and treatment, sheltering and adoption of homeless and abused animals, humane education, advocacy, farm animal welfare, spay/neuter programs, and wildlife rescue and rehabilitation.
