WildSense was created to help wild animals by addressing the unique issues and challenges that wildlife face in urban and wild environments throughout B.C. By promoting co-existence and alternative solutions to human-wildlife conflicts, this newsletter will reach out and offer solutions to improve the welfare of wildlife.
WildSense is a team effort with stories and features from our staff at Wild ARC and in the BC SPCA Humane Education and Wildlife Services Department including:
Various Wild ARC staff with backgrounds in animal health technology, biology or geography;
Meghann Cant, animal welfare educator and former wildlife rehabilitator;
Craig Naherniak, general manager of humane education and former environmental educator;
Sara Dubois, manager of wildlife services and wildlife welfare researcher.
And, as part of our wildlife community, your ideas and topics that celebrate or address issues facing B.C. wildlife are always welcome!
