2011 Lottery... for the Animals
 The deadline to purchase tickets for the 2011 BC SPCA Lottery for the Animals was midnight on April 15, 2011.

Prize draws
31 cash prizes will be drawn for every day in May. There will be 26 cash prizes of $2,500, four prizes of $5,000 and a special Mother’s Day prize of $10,000!
The Early Bird Draw will be held on April 1st for $5,000 in cash! That winning ticket will be re-entered into the draw to be held on May 1st. Each winning ticket will be re-entered for all of the subsequent draws, giving you the chance to win multiple prizes.
All funds generated by the lottery will go towards providing shelter, medical care, spay and neuter services, adoption and foster care facilitation, advocacy and education programs as well as the rescue and protection of animals in need.

Final Ticket Sale Deadline April 15, 2011
BC GAMING EVENT LICENCE #30933 Licensee: BC SPCA, 1245 East 7th Ave., Vancouver, BC, V5T 1R1, (604) 681-7271. There are 2,565 single tickets available for $25 each, 16,575 tickets available in the 3 for $55 packs, and 23,875 tickets available in the 5 for $80 packs, totaling 43,015 tickets. All sales are final once a ticket number is assigned, subject to credit approval. All prizes will be drawn on May 1, 2011 at 11 a.m. at BC SPCA Administration Centre, 1245 East 7th Ave. (The Early Bird Draw will take place at the same address, March 31, 2011 at 11 a.m., the winner will be announced April 1, 2011 and the winning ticket will be re-entered for the May 1 draw). 31 prizes are drawn from a barrel, each ticket is re-entered for every prize category. Total value of prizes is $100,000. All winners will be contacted by phone. Winners consent to release of their names by licensee. List of winners will be announced daily on prize days from May 1 - 31, 2011 online at spca.bc.ca/lottery. Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia. Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older. No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the BC SPCA or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.
