Vancouver Technical Secondary School Key Club

Generosity in Action - September 2012

This month, a huge shout out goes to the members of Vancouver Technical Secondary School's Key Club for their outstanding community service and generous donation to the BC SPCA.

Every year the students fundraise for great causes by hosting events like car washes, carnivals, bake sales, and bbq’s. This year, the BC SPCA was the gracious recipient of a portion of the proceeds raised from their hard work.

Their passion for animal welfare was a definite factor in choosing where to direct funds. Many of the members are animal owners themselves and are saddened by the thought of any animal being treated cruelly.

In celebration of the Vancouver Technical School Key Club’s generous contributions, we encourage our shelters to name homeless animals “Keylo” - Key for Key Club and lo for the first 2 letters in love.
