About Rehoboth Farm

Situated in the heart of Yarrow, Rehoboth Farm is a small, family operated, free range poultry farm. Owner and Operator, Willy Driesen, grew up on her family's dairy farm in Holland where they also had chickens and mini goats.  The family immigrated to Canada in 1982 to start over, and in 2004, Lieuwe and Anne, John and Willy and their children, began working towards their dream to build up a family farm again.  They started with a flock of 20 free range laying hens. Demand for their great tasting eggs grew quickly and in the summer of 2011, Rehoboth Farm relocated to a new site.  Today, 399 happy hens make their home at Rehoboth Farm.

“We are very passionate about the well-being of our birds as well as educating the public about farm animal welfare,” states Willy Driesen. “We give our hens lots of TLC, and hand pick the eggs twice a day. There is extra space for the birds inside and out to exhibit their natural behaviours, like scratching, perching and dustbathing.  All that makes for great flavour in these beautiful brown eggs they lay for us and our customers!"

SPCA Certified eggs are sold for $3.99/dozen at Rehoboth's farm-gate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00am to 6:00pm. Occasionally, Rehoboth eggs are also sold to Rabbit River Farms to be marketed under the Rabbit River brand.  Rabbit River Farms is also SPCA Certified.
