About Rockweld Farm
Tim and Flo Rempel and their family started raising chickens in 1995 for their own consumption and for a few of their customers. The response was so great that they expanded their farm and now sell all of their products, fresh and frozen, from their on-farm store and select retail locations and farmers' markets. Rockweld Farm was certified by the BC SPCA in June of 2002 for eggs and chicken.
Thefarm is hands-on, with every member of the family taking part in raising the chickens and egg laying hens. The birds are fed a certified organic, all vegetarian diet that is free of medications. The birds are provided with space to forage and natural daylight in the barns. "We believe that quality and care are of utmost importance," says Tim Rempel, "Eat local - eat ethical - eat healthy."
Rockweld Farm sells a variety of SPCA Certified chicken products and eggs. All of the chicken sausages are gluten-free and contain no fillers or preservatives.
