A quick and easy recipe for family dinners.

Ingredients

4 - 6 oz. (175 g) each SPCA Certified turkey breast or turkey breast pieces

Marinade:

1/2 cup (125 mL) soy sauce
1/4 cup (50 mL) dry sherry or rice wine
2 tbsp (30 mL) honey
2 tsp (10mL) fresh ginger, grated
1 tsp (5 mL) orange rind, grated
1/2 tsp (2 mL) sesame oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
toasted sesame seeds (optional)

Method

1. Pound turkey pieces to 1/2 inch (1 cm) thickness; place in large plastic bag.

2. In small bowl mix together soy sauce, sherry, honey, ginger, orange rind, sesame oil and garlic. Pour marinade over turkey; refrigerate at least 2 hours or up to 8 hours.

3. Remove turkey pieces from marinade and broil or grill 3 to 5 minutes on each side or until turkey is no longer pink inside. Slice thinly on diagonal and place over rice. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds, if desired.
