Kate and Mackenzie

High Paws to Kate and Mackenzie, grade 7 students and friends from Langley, who baked and decorated an incredible 250 cupcakes during the week of National Cupcake Day. The girls sold the cupcakes at their school, raising $188 for the BC SPCA. Thank you, Kate and Mackenzie, for your hard work baking and selling these sweet creations to help animals in need!

 
 

Allison

Ladysmith resident Allison donated $54 from her seventh birthday party to the Nanaimo SPCA. High Paws, Allison!

 
 

Alex

When Nanaimo resident Alex turned six, he collected pet supplies to give to animals in need instead of gifts for himself. Thank you, Alex.

 
 

Grace

When Grace, from Nanoose Bay, celebrated her eighth birthday, she took the opportunity to collect donations for the animals, instead of gifts for herself. Grace raised $113, which she donated to the Nanaimo SPCA. Thanks, Grace!

 
 

Bethany

When Bethany turned 10, she received $208.16 in birthday money, which she chose to donate to the Cowichan SPCA. What a great gift! Thank you, Bethany.

 
 

Casey

Casey, 8, has donated birthday money to the Nanaimo SPCA for two years in a row. Last year Casey collected $140 and this year he raised $80 – all going towards helping animals in need. High Paws, Casey!

 
 

Rachel

When Rachel received $40 in birthday money, she decided she wanted to give it to the animals at the Nanaimo SPCA. What a wonderful way to “pay it forward.” High Paws, Rachel!

 
 

Jordan

Jordan visited the Nanaimo SPCA with his brother Matthew to donate $20 from his eighth birthday. Thank you for thinking of the animals, Jordan!

 
 

Ariel

High Paws to Ariel, who fundraised twice in one week to benefit animals at the Richmond SPCA. First, she held a bake sale and raised $132. Then, just days later, she participated in a bottle drive fundraiser with a group of students from her school. Thank you!

 
 

Frances

High Paws to 11-year-old Frances from Cranbrook! She donated $154 in birthday money to the East Kootenay SPCA, making a real difference in the lives of animals.
