A badly injured otter has undergone surgery and is recovering at Wild ARC, the BC SPCA’s wildlife rehabilitation centre in Metchosin, after being rescued in Oak Bay.

Kids looking forward to BC SPCA Summer Camp can now get a taste of summer all through the year. BC SPCA youth workshops, held monthly at several locations throughout the province, offer the chance for kids to spend time with animals, participate in animal-themed games and crafts and hear from inspiring guest speakers.

Tickets are now on sale for the 2012 BC SPCA Lottery… for the animals, which funds urgently-needed medical care, sheltering, spay and neuter services, advocacy, adoption and foster care programs and more for homeless and abused animals in BC SPCA shelters provincewide.


Free feral cat clinics planned
