The British Columbia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (BC SPCA) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia.

Governance and accountability

The BC SPCA is committed to achieving the highest standards of transparency and accountability in all its activities. In order to maintain these high standards of accountability and to foster public confidence in the work of our organization, we undertake to provide the public with information on our governance, operations and financial position.

Volunteer

The BC SPCA operates with the assistance of over 4,000 volunteers who work at the shelter level and in a variety of fundraising, advocacy and education roles.

 

Membership

BC SPCA members are dedicated to ensuring the safety, protection and care of animals in B.C. and strive to support our branch, administration and governing bodies.

 

Careers

Each year, the BC SPCA helps more than 32,000 animals and you can be a part of it! We are looking for individuals who are passionate about animal welfare to join our team.
