Our mission: To protect and enhance the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in B.C.

The BC SPCA is a charitable society which exists to protect animals from cruelty and to promote humane, animal-friendly communities. Each year, the BC SPCA helps nearly 28,000 animals through activities such as cruelty investigations, emergency rescue and treatment, sheltering and adoptions, the return of lost pets, education programs on responsible pet care, wildlife rehabilitation, and advocacy on animal-related issues.

Proud to be one of only 45 charitable organizations to be accredited by Imagine Canada, the national umbrella for charities and nonprofits, the BC SPCA is the first Canadian humane society to become accredited, demonstrating a high level of excellence in board governance, financial accountability and transparency, fundraising, staff management, and volunteer involvement.

You can be a part of it! We are looking for individuals who are passionate about animal welfare and meet the requirements noted in the following opportunities.
