Q - I found an injured bird, what do I do?

If you find an injured bird (blood, limping, bone visible), gently contain it in a cardboard box using a small towel, keep it in a dark and quiet place, and call your local wildlife rehabilitation centre. If it is a large bird (like a raptor) and you are unable to safely handle the animal then arrange with the rehabilitation centre to ask for help first.
