Do you want to be a BC SPCA Community Outreach Ambassador?
The role of BC SPCA Community Outreach Ambassador is critical to the promotion of BC SPCA advocacy initiatives and services in the local community. Acting as a voice for the needs of the animals in the community, our ambassadors exercise leadership in the protection and promotion of animal welfare by demonstrating compassion, wisdom, and advocacy. As a strategic partner, volunteers engaged in this role will connect directly with members of the local community in the pursuit of increasing community awareness regarding the mission, initiatives, and presence of the BC SPCA.
Step 5: Apply for the Community Outreach Ambassador volunteer position at your local branch or department, by visiting our volunteer webpage and choosing the location closest to you (for opportunities in Vancouver, try Vancouver or Provincial Office). Availability of the program will vary by location, so inquire with the branch directly if you do not see any positions posted!
Step 6: Work with your local branch or department to register for the learning management system to complete the Outreach Ambassador training.
