The BC SPCA’s cruelty investigations department hosted an adoptathon for farm animals seized in recent animal cruelty investigations on Saturday, Sept. 26.

October is Farm Animal Month at the BC SPCA, and the organization is encouraging British Columbians to take action for more than 100 million farm animals raised in B.C. each year.
Sometimes, your pet dog might growl when he’s approached while eating, or when a toy gets taken away. But canines are born with the instinct to guard their resources.
With fall just arrived and Halloween around the corner, it’s a good time to think about the animals in your care and their safety at night.
