Our mission: To protect and enhance the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in B.C.
Welcome to the BC SPCA South Peace Branch website. Each year our branch helps hundreds of animals find new homes. The BC SPCA currently receives no provincial government funding and is completely reliant on community support. We appreciate all of your support, and for making the BC SPCA your first adoption option!
In a first-ever national fundraiser benefiting SPCAs and humane societies, National Cupcake Day has raised more than $360,000 across Canada to help animals in need.
The BC SPCA is seeking public input about pressing animal issues facing B.C. communities as it begins a strategic planning process to guide its programs and services from 2014 to 2018.
Top officials from The B.C. Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals will be in Powell River on Saturday, May 25 to celebrate the official opening of the region’s first-ever SPCA community animal centre.
